They’re probably old friends. When they came out with the following system, all friends were converted to followers.
But this has only just happened, a few days ago my follow list was normal
Are you sure? Seems like from the screenshot it's a bunch of people with older characters like from 2015 or older, back when they had the friends and best friends system.
I think it's likely you just used to be friended with them and when the friends and followers update came out you followed them.
Also, you can confirm this by checking the followers page and seeing if the same people are there because the update made each person follow each other
About 5 days ago I followed a bunch of traders, now I have to go HUNDREDS of pages just to reach the people I followed.

I have a pin and 2 step, my password is 48 characters long, how could I possibly have been PGed, I play nearly everyday.
That's interesting. Reminds me of that glitch where you could make anyone your friend (including deleted accounts If I remember correctly).
Or that glitch that let you award badges to anybody.
Someone would of used a follow bot to follow them
i think the followers/following list is sorted by oldest now, so these were probably old friends from back before followers were even a thing
My whole list (friends and followers) are listed by alphabetical order now. It was a recent update that happened. Where do you have proof of this sorting (by oldest)?
it's weird, mine is alphabetical too, but at the same time it's sorted by oldest. all of my followers on the first few pages are old friends i had back from 2014.
Yeah, I have an account from '14 and the followers (former friends) are sorted in alphabetical, so I don't see how you get the sorting by oldest. I would love to see that happen though.
here it is, most users shown have avatars from that 2013/14 era, and if they dont then they're probably still active
I can see groups of people that are alphabetically sorted, but for the most part, there's a lot of people that are out of place.
Did you use the same account since 2014 because I'm surprised the amount of people that joined close to me.
Either you prop got hacked. Ive seen sites that GIVE AWAY passwords username ect, Either you HAD your password and username shared on one of those sites OR you might have fallen to a Fake site that either gives away stuff thats not real thats prop why you have so many people following.
That's impossible, I don't fall for those kinds of things.

Let me tell a story, around 2008 when I joined Roblox I had a friend, (who I still play with today) I never met him in real life or knew much about him in real life, but he was always a mysterious person. Around last month he messaged me on Reddit and showed me that on some dark web website he found my old account being sold. He said he bought my account back and wanted to give it to me for my birthday,
Knowing that it's most likely the account won't be banned since it's from 2010 (my second account) I said it's ok and I'll take the gift. I logged on for the first time in 10 years and the first thing I did was check my friends list and see if anybody was still online or active. But I found out my account was being used as a bot account, it was following some unknown accounts and then following some very well known users, it seems that somebody else was botting known users to get them banned or something, or it was the user themself.
When I found this I thought I found something that could expose lots of users but I still don't know if it was them or somebody else.

Okay, I changed my password and my pin, I extended my password to 64 characters of random letters and numbers, I made my pin a random number and I specifically re-registered my account with an email specifically for 2 step verification, I'm phone verified with a sim card used ONLY for this purpose, and I turn my trades off when I go to sleep, so I can't be compromised and have my ghosdeeri stolen.
