Brigitte GORT-ALLEN My name is Brigitte Marianna Gort-Allen. I was born to Dirk Gosewinus Gort (deceased) and Elisabeth Maria Alberta Gort-den Boer. My life's journey began in Rheden, the Netherlands, on September 1, 1959, where I grew up in a loving family, falling in between my two brothers, Cees and Onno. Our family eventually expanded to include Cees' wife, Louise Bellersen (and their sons, Berendt and Pieter) and Onno's wife, Francis Kappers (and their daughters, Evianne and Divera). Of course, I would be remiss if I didn't include the love of my life, Steven Kent Allen, our pride and joy, Benjamin Lee Allen, and Steve's son, Daniel Brady Allen. An expanded biography is available at www.sympathytree.com/brigitteallen1959. A private gathering to celebrate Brigitte's life will be held at a later date for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please send your memorial gifts to the National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR) [Address: 1215 Fourth Avenue, Suite 1600, Seattle, WA 98161-1011; Phone: (206) 632-7370] where flowers will bloom forever in the Brigitte Gort-Allen Rooftop Reflection Garden.
