What do you tell people your gpa is? I’m confused because CGPA includes repeated courses whereas DGPA is basically all the courses going towards your degree. I’ve had mixed responses from advising, one telling me CGPA is used to tell people whereas another one told me it was DGPA.

DGPA vs. CGPA
Honestly if whoever is asking for your GPA is not specific (e.g. asking specifically for DGPA , CGPA, or your GPA over the last two years, or whatever) then I would just tell them whichever number is higher.
