3 Livingston High School Students Honored At County Academic Awards

The program is held to honor valedictorians and salutatorians from high schools throughout Essex County. Here's who represented Livingston.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Three of Livingston High School’s top scholars were recently honored at the 2024 Essex County Academic Awards program.

The program is held annually to honor valedictorians and salutatorians from high schools throughout the county. This year’s event was held at Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville.

The students representing Livingston were:

  • valedictorian William Wang
  • co-salutatorian Alan Hu
  • co-salutatorian Edward Zheng

In addition to their parents, the students were allowed to invite a teacher as their guest. Wang invited Dr. Anatoly Fonarev, Hu invited Megan DeBlieck and Zheng invited Nancy Ciminnisi. Livingston High School principal Danielle Rosenzweig and Superintendent Matthew Block also attended the event to congratulate the high-achieving students.
