      na n Exciting, fast-paced, and macabre without being gory or dingy. Having never read the books, I think the world building is interesting and plot relevant without resorting to info dumping. In addition, while the plot feels like a bit of a whirlwind with lots of action and well choreographed fights, the story still manages to feel quite character driven.
