Bill Goodykoontz Arizona Republic It's ultimately Rourke who makes the film worth watching. Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 22, 2009 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Killshot boasts some notable celebrities and impressive talent behind the camera. It’s enjoyable as rainy day amusement. Kyle J The FBI gives a couple new identities, but they leave the couples' phone hooked up with speed dial numbers intact. Just one example of the film's nonsense. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review steve d Nothing new here, but it is effective thanks to a fantastic cast. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member JGL does a magic trick where he leaks blood while Mickey Rourke looks like a piece of granite. Ill-advised plans for crimes happen and are executed poorly while you sit there wondering why you are wasting your time. If you like dumb things with guns and blood, you could do worse Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Decent if not memorable carried by a good performance by Mickey Rourke who plays an Indian Hitman. Reminded me of Steven Seagal with a melted face but not as fat. Joseph Gordon Levitt plays his over the top nutjob assistant who probably was the outstanding actor in the movie. Thomas Jane and Diane Lane play the civilians placed into hiding after witnessing a crime involving Rourke. They are not the most interesting part of the movie. Rosario Dawson is a little under used as Levitt's girlfriend. Bit slow, ending a bit rushed and predictable. But not to bad. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Only good for seeing how mickey rourke turned into an ogre from being one of the most 'baby faced' handsome man in holywood. absolutely nothing else... apart from the production quality and the big name(s) everything was B class, if i'm not too generous. especially the plot sucks. i am not a guy who is obsessed with logic in films, but in this one its an eyesore. the guys were supposed to be professional criminals, but every killing is pointless, and they pursue an even mindless one all throughout the movie... i had it for the sake of lovely Diane Lane, but even she is not very good looking here. Sure, i and my missus watched till the credits, but it was because we secretly hoped for something to happen that would make the whole experience worthwhile. it was futile. Avoid. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Fortunately Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character has made it a little bit more. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews
