He was just on last Tuesday or wed. He is the reason the live show got pulled from you tube along with Hannah claire about vaccines. He literally apologizes in the private show for it.

Him and Tim go at it a bit and he has not been on since. Not sure why no one has said.

u/lyfeofsand avatar

That I didn't know.

Oh boy, what did he say?

Something about vaccines killing as in cause of death of someone he knew from ohio. Tim said he spends to much time with Luke lol.

Oh same aftershow ian talks about DMT a lot and feeling called to the wall to pray in israel so maybe thats where he is now.

Pretty crazy you get censored for disparaging a vaccine

Take it up with you tube

At least he apologized. He is also owed one by Tim as well

Ian knew by saying what he did he was jeopardizing Tim's livelihood on YouTube. He apologized for the remark by not placing Tim's show in jeopardy.

I like Ian, except when he talks crazy about Christianity.

I’ve been watching the show way less due to Tim’s cowardice about pleasing YouTube censors. He’s always been like this but now he’s just actively avoiding controversial topics to keep the money flowing, all while whining about censorship and demanding fight from regular people.

He goes on “spiritual” benders all the time. He’s probably communing with his ancient ancestors in the Congo or some stupid shit. Good riddance.

u/lyfeofsand avatar

So nothing official, but also nothing out of ordinary?

u/praetorfenix avatar

Pretty much

Rgr. Thank you

Hopefully he's off the show. The guy argues in circles and makes the show redundant and stupid. Even though people find his antics amusing.

I like Ian but sometimes he gets so stuck on semantics and it prevents him from getting the grand scheme of the point being made.

u/CannedBread6432 avatar

No, Tim is the one who gets stuck on semantics, Ian will mean something else, and Tim will freak out at him

Personally I really enjoy his viewpoints.

The problem is he's on the wrong format. By alot.

He argues in circles because the show is much more objective than his subjective views.

I think most people would enjoy him on Joe Rogan more than Tim Pool.

He's the wrong ingredient in the wrong soup.

Tim just says the same thing at nauseum. I've almost completely stopped watching outside of certain guests, but even 3-5 weeks apart, Tim is still saying the same redundant messages.

I like Tim, but he doesn't seem to actually have any greater purpose for what he's doing than to say he's a part of smdoing something. Like he's not moving towards something.

Yeah wouldn't want any interesting viewpoint getting in the way of Tim talking about Occupy Wall Street and the imminent civil war for the 50 thousandth time

I think the problem is he is attractive to the algorithm because he starts drama, pushes buttons, and gets people commenting. Tim keeps him on solely because of the magnetic sense of conflict he brings to the episodes. But there oughta be plenty of room for dynamism from other guests without his terrible takes.

Ian is there to appeal to a "simpler" demographic.

He’s hilarious. Get rid of Phil before Ian

I liked Phil until I found out he believes the official 9/11 narrative.

I thought YT had changed their policy on vaccines? Rogan recently had Bret Weinstein on his show saying the vaccines had killed an estimated 17 million people, am I remembering that wrong? But Tim can't even have Ian mention the vaccines doing harm... doesn't make much sense.

He did it. He finally touched grass. :')

Was a weird moment with one of the super chats today Ian was mentioned as part of the team, after which Hannah Claire said “uh oh” and Tim laughed

u/lyfeofsand avatar

....they "retired" Ian didn't they?

Ian is living on a lovely farm upstate, isn't he?

Well.... bye Ian. You were a good do- err, cohost.
