Our tourgide was Mike, on the way there he gave us a lot interesting history about the Great wall. On top of that he is very friendly and passionate about his job! Always can have a good laugh with! When we went there it was so hot, but we did see enough. First we went to the east wall and took the toggoban down and then to the west wall to badd time went to fast and didnt had enough time on the west wall. Some down points for us (nothing too serious):
- shops there have different opening hours, some open after 2pm, some closed at 4pm etc so our visit at 12pm was awfully awkward as some places are not open
- there's not a lot of food options inside so make sure you have some food before coming over

The dam was still iced over adding to the picturesque charm.
