Stagg Senior High School Reviews
Rating 3.41 out of 5 200 reviews
The best part of Stagg High School was how welcoming the environment was. Teachers were especially the stars when I was transferred to Stagg High School, they were very welcoming to new students and understanding if you needed more time on assignments. I will never forget my pre calculus teacher Mr. Walter he was the better experience of my senior year. Some of my not so good times were trying to talk to my counselors about the next step after high school. It was a very rushed meeting where my counselor told me to just go to community college as it would be easier, there was very little guidance, and no help towards applying to community college or help on my sat’s as well.
My overall experience with Stagg Senior High School is relatively fair albeit lukewarm. There are opportunities that students are able to take within their high school years, and the according staff are willing to assist in this process. With the right group, priceless friendships are formed which are crucially important like any other class. Unfortunately, there are many fights that take place and the environmental can immediately get hostile at any given moment. I’ve also noted that there aren’t much classes offered that could enhance the skills and interests of students—they would have to resort to outside resources for those matters. I would like to see how facilities can be added to adhere for the development and learning of student lives. I anticipate the best from my school, and how it will work to ensure that all students stay safe whilst we expand our knowledge and experience for life.
Stagg High School isn't an all-around awful school, it has its highs but it has its lows as well. I've met a few very caring and respectful teachers, while others didn't even teach the class. Honestly, most staff members don't really make an effort to say hello or introduce themselves to students. Also, there are many students are just here for friends, not education or a better future and there are not many people here who encourage them to do better.
