Easily Julian Lennon's best album. "Rebel King", "Imaginary Lines" and the stunning "New Physics Rant" are just a few highlights in this enthralling, eclectic record.

Mediocre at best, just showing that talent is not necessarily inheritable. A pity, really, since at points he sounds eerily like his dad.

Overall not that good but deserves the nod for "Saltwater" alone.

His fourth album release and one which still has much appeal to me. The first side tends to fade into insignificance and is forgettable, yet side 2 shines out and makes this a worthwhile addition to my collection.
The stand outs are "Listen", "Other Side of Town" and the beautiful "Take Me Home".

A very good album that should be judged on its own merits, with no mention of parentage necessary. The songwriting is great and the production carries a lot of depth. This album provided two hit singles (in Australia at least) and carries a lot of variety and imagination.

I've never understood why people say that Saltwater sounds like "Strawberry Fields Forever", when the two songs aren't even slightly melodically or lyrically similar. Sure, Lennon uses a Mellotron on "Saltwater", but if you're going to be that daft about it you may as well say that "Enter Sandman" sounds like "Love Me Do" because they both have drums.

You can't find this CD around anymore. Julian Lennon is such an amazing artist and hasn't gotten the recognition he deserves. I LOVE this CD!!!
