Submitted Biography: "I am the son of a Pastor, proud father of three, former Congressional Staffer, four tour US Army Captain and Special Operations Combat Veteran with two Bronze Stars, and successful businessman. I married an Auburn Riverside and WSU alumni and we are raising a family in beautiful Bonney Lake. I got my MBA from Columbia Business School and worked for Microsoft and served as a Director of a Health Care company with clinics from Kent to Graham. I spent the early part of my career working on Capitol Hill learning about public policy and government leadership. It wasn't until a visit with a wounded soldier, at the height of the Iraq war, that I became inspired to enlist in the military to serve my country in uniform. As a Captain in the US Army and as a member of the elite Ranger Regiment, I underwent the most intense training our military has to offer and deployed on four combat tours. It was during this time that I learned that the best leaders are servants to those they are entrusted to lead. I decided to run for Congress because too many in D.C. have failed to be servants to the people. My military background combined with my experience working in the Private sector, managing healthcare facilities, and passion for servant leadership has prepared me to serve you in Congress."

I believe in Servant Leadership which means I will fight for every woman, man, and child in the 8th Congressional District.
I will fight to protect pre-existing conditions, lower health care costs, defend our Constitutional rights specifically our 1st and 2nd ammendment rights, and will push to safely re-open our economy.
- I'm proud to be endorsed by former Congressman Dave Reichert, King County Councilmember Reagan Dunn, former Senator Slade Gorton, former Attorney General Rob McKenna, former State Legislator Jan Shabro, Clay Myers of Kittitas County, Sheriff Brian Burnett, Congressmen Dan Crenshaw, Mike Gallagher, Mike Waltz, The Washington State Farm Bureau, Mainstream Republicans of Washington, Concerned Tax Payers of Washington State, King County Republican Party, the Hunters Heritage Council, and the War Veterans Fund.
I'm prepared to fight for Veterans, Small Business Owners, and workers. The people of the diverse 8th Congressional District deserve someone in Capitol Hill who will represent them. I plan to focus on creating middle class prosperity by limiting runaway spending and onerous regulations. I will fight to defeat the Socialist ideologies on the radical left while lowering the cost of healthcare and protecting coverage for pre-existing conditions. I will fight for our Constitutional rights that the founders knew would ensure equal opportunity for all, the environment, and the National defense while maintaining economic prosperity. I love my Country and passionately believe that all should be able to achieve the American Dream. I ask for your support so we can realize that dream together.
I look up to my Dad who was a small town pastor when I was growing up. He always put the needs of his parishioners above his own. He was always willing to offer support and to be a shoulder to cry on in challenging times. He was also willing to take me on cattle drives and to help the members of his Church in non-spiritual ways because he believed in a strong sense of community.
I think that anyone who wishes to seek office should be a Servant Leader. Servant Leaders put the needs of those they hope to lead before their own. I saw this serving with two Congressional Medal of Honor reciepients in the Army. I saw this in my Dad taking care of the members of his congregation. I am running because I think we need more Servant Leaders in Washington, D.C.. I will always put the needs of my constituents above any specail interest. I will be a fierce advocate for this beautiful district and the diverse citizens that live in it from Auburn to Wenatchee and everywhere inbetween.
I remember the beginning of the first Gulf War. I was seven years old and I remember my Dad having to explain what going to war meant.
My first job was clearing driveways of snow when I was 12 years old in western South Dakota. I had that job for several winters. My next job was as a dishwasher at 14 years old at Jeannie's Kitchen. I've had a W2 every year since I was 14.
The biggest immediate challenge is going to be coming out of the COIVD-19 Pandemic. We will need to have strong leaders who are willing to act decisively to ensure that consumer spending returns quickly after the mandatory lockdowns. Once we have a vaccine and are to the other side of the crisis we will need to face the rising threat of China and Russia to global stability. China continues to target the US and our allies asymmetrically. We need to take a strong stand against their theft of intellectual property and ensure that they respect the rights of the one government two systems independent rule of Hong Kong. We also need to reform our health care system and prevent further damage to our environment. Senator John Thune is both a mentor and the first person I worked for out of College. He epitomizes Servant Leadership and fights for all of the people of his State, regardless of Party.
