Christopher Crawford Obituary

Christopher Crawford was born on November 21st, 1996 Lakisa Crawford and Perry Lee Crawford Jr. in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He passed away on January 12th 2023.Christopher was a beloved father, son, brother, cousin and friend. Christopher graduated from Robert B. Glenn High School in 2015. He ran track and played football. He was a member of the National Technical Honor Society. Christopher loved spending time with family especially his son. Christopher was raised in the church. Christopher was naturally intelligent and easily figured things out that seemed hard for others. He like playing football outside with his son. He was always helping his mother around the house often doing things that were needed before she asked. He was funny always telling a joke to lighten the mood or to make someone feel better. He was a diehard New England Patriot fan. His favorite player was Tom Brady. He like watching football with his son and mother. He loved music and would listen to it in every room in the house. He was a good brother and loved spending time with his sisters. He was also an over protective brother always willing to watch over his sisters and try to scare away anyone who tried to date them.

Christopher was given the nickname Rowdy by his aunt when he was little because he was a ball of energy and always wanting to wrestle, jump off things he shouldn’t, flipping in the smallest of space, etc.

Christopher was proceeded in death by his maternal grandmother Carolyn Griffin, his paternal grandfather Perry Lee Crawford senior and his cousin Danielle Helms. Those that remain to cherish his memory are his son Tristan Sutton, his mother Lakisa Crawford of the home, his father Perry Lee Crawford Jr., his sister Tiffany Crawford and Patricia Crawford, his paternal grandmother Carolyn Wolfe, maternal grandfather James Griffin, his aunts Tonya(Ebony) Brown, Shayla Brown, Shalisa Covington, Amirah(Kevin) Sweatte, Gerlethia (William) Mason, Monica(Dwight) Bailey, Mashelle(Ty) Bryant, his uncles Dwayne Brown and James Covington and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends
