Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Interesting museum - lots of cars and vehicles to see. Well laid out from early bikes to modern day - easy for kids to follow as we walked through and cars became more modern. Bloodhound/Thrust cars at the end really interesting too. Kids area to play with some toys, some interactive features on the way round. Toilets available at regular places on way round. Staff helpful and knowledgeable.

The Purveyors have a deep knowledge and genuine appreciation of the content of this museum, which is 2-tone/ska music. So many meaningful artifacts! Instruments, organs, even half a car. If you know who the Specials are, the (English) Beat, Selecter, et al then you need to visit. Very worthwhile.

What a beautiful setting to celebrate our birthdays at. We started with a Knights afternoon tea with some prosecco on the side. The food arrived on mini picnic tables and was delicious and very filling. It was nice to have something different, an afternoon tea without sandwiches! We then went for a wander around the garden and found the hidden gem of Abbey Punts. What a delightful time we had punting around the grounds, with another prosecco obviously. Anthony was courteous, informative and very obliging as our photographer. For a a bargain price too. It was a lovely addition to our day and something we would highly recommend.

Had two visits recently with my 8 year old son both on Saturdays. We found all of the volunteers welcoming, we had the opportunity to explore several planes (Vulcan, Argosy and Hind helicopter) and several cockpits inside and out (notably what remains of a harrier jump jet). My son absolutely loved his first visit he was very enthusiastic so we returned for a second visit and again he loved it. There is a lot on display here and the museum is largely themed around manufacturing and airfields in the area but its not limited to this. I did notice some changes made to the exhibits so clearly some of the smaller airplanes inside are sometimes rotated. These visits weren’t my first I’ve been on my own as well. If you’re interested in aviation I’d make a visit. The museum is next to Coventry airport and although this is a small airport it does add some charm with single engined airplanes occasionally taking off.

Wonderful free museum with a great history of the city and some good art exhibitions upstairs. Well laid out and thoughtful exhibitions. The cafe was closed unfortunately. You also get half price tickets for the transport museum which is an added bonus.

Went to see a play with a friend, it was called Swim Aunty Swim, mainly set in a swimming pool in Coventry. It was written by a young Coventry woman called Siana Bangura, surely a rising talent. It was funny, warm and moving with a very imaginative set design.
We thoroughly enjoyed it and our evening and a big thank you to all the staff who made us very welcome.
Well worth seeing if you can get a ticket!

A really beautiful place to visit. So many lovely walks and lots of birds and wildlife to be seen.

We went as we live quite locally and our cat had made her way over there (a mile away) and couldn’t find her way back! Rachael and Richard were so helpful. Cat was spotted whilst we were there and Richard helped us find her.

Thanks all. We’ll be back - but hopefully without the cat.!

What a little gem of a museum. Excellent work by Steve to get all these bits of memorabilia together in one place. My dad introduced me to Bilko and I only wish I could have introduced dad to Steve and his museum. Keep up the good work and I'll pop down again one day.
