Youngster O’Reilly signs new deal

Aston Villa midfielder Tommi O’Reilly has signed a new contract with the club.

The 20-year-old is captain of Villa Under-21s and made his first-team debut as a substitute in the Europa Conference League draw at Bosnian side Zrinjski Mostar in December.

He signed a professional contract with the club in March 2022.

Academy manager Mark Harrison said: "We are delighted to see Tommi sign his new contract.

"It’s a great reflection of his hard work and development over the past couple of years, especially as he's been registered with us since the age of nine.

"I would like to thank Tommi’s family and all the staff who have been involved in his development. We look forward to seeing how his career develops."
