v17.2 is out. "This update introduces Journal, an all-new way to reflect on life's moments and preserve your memories. This release aslo includes Action button and Camera enhancements, as well as other features, bug fixes, and security updates for your iPhone. Some features may not be available for all regions or on all Apple devices...." - -> For those of us who miss the iOS version of MacJournal, this looks promising. 9to5Mac has a review.

iPhone 6s (all models), iPhone 7 (all models) and iPhone SE (1st generation) are all being supported with security updates, as is the case with iOS 15.7.4, released alongside iOS 16.5 for newer iPhones.
