Wait! Who's the 90s Supermodel at the Oscars With Aaron Sorkin and Are They an Item?
The Academy Awards always feel like a Hollywood who’s-who, but one couple at this year’s Oscars had viewers wondering, “He’s with who?!” Legendary screenwriter AaronSorkin, a Best Adapted Screenplay nominee for his work on The Trial of the Chicago 7, showed up on the event’s red carpet alongside none other than legendary supermodel PaulinaPorizkova!

Is Aaron Sorkin married?
Sorkin has been married once, to attorney Julia Bingham from 1996 to 2005. They share one child, daughter Roxy Sorkin, who was born in November 2000 and has already become an accomplished equestrian. She’s also showing signs of following in her father’s footsteps, co-writing the 2020 short film God Is a Lobster.
Before his marriage to Bingham, Sorkin was engaged to actress Megan Gallagher, who starred in his Broadway play A Few Good Men (before it became a Rob Reiner-directed hit movie starring Tom Cruise and Demi Moore!).
Are Aaron Sorkin and Paulina Porizkova together?
Yep—they’re not just friends! Just days before the Oscars, news broke that the two are indeed dating. Page Six claims that the 59-year-old Sorkin and 56-year-old Porizkova “have been quietly seeing each other for a few months” and that Porizkova had been dropping hints on her Instagram that she had a special, unnamed someone in her life. Less than a week ago, for example, she shared a selfie that shows her prepping for “date night” in a shower cap and sheet mask, adding, “Lucky the man who gets this full glory.”
And earlier this month, she talked to Yahoo about “being out there dating again,” claiming that she wouldn’t “rule out getting married again because…I'm a totally hopeless romantic and I believe in love.”

Who has Aaron Sorkin dated?
In the 2000s, Sorkin spent many years dating actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth, who had a recurring role on his long-running drama The West Wing. And speaking of Kristins, back in 2012, he was also linked to Sex and the City star Kristin Davis.

Is Paulina Porizkova married?
Porizkova was married to Cars frontman Ric Ocasek for 30 years. They met on the set of the music video for The Cars’ hit single “Drive,” when he was 40 (and married to second wife Suzanne Ocasek) and she was just 18 and a rising supermodel who’d been booked to star in the visual.
The two eventually married in 1989 and had two sons together before separating in 2017. Two years later, it was Porizkova who found Ocasek dead in their shared New York City home following complications from surgery.
Porizkova also admitted to Yahoo that she and Ocasek were “planning to get a divorce” at the time of his death and that, despite her new romance, she still feels like she’s not sure what she wants from a new relationship.
“I don't know what I want because my husband was my soulmate for such a long time, and what he provided me at that time is no longer what I need,” she explained. “I need something else now because I'm way more fabulous now than I was at 19. I need a guy that can withstand my awesomeness.”
