STAY AWAY

I purchased a 2018 BMW 430i last September. On my way home from Dallas (I live in OKC) I started to notice that my AC was blowing hot air..... I had a warranty through Echo Park for the first 3 months after purchase, so I took it to their mechanic partner Pep Boys. I was told that my freon levels were low, so they filled it up and I thought all was good. Now since the temperatures are rising, I once again noticed that my AC was blowing hot air. Well, it looks like there is a leak in the AC condenser and this is how they sold the car to me. I will now have to spend upwards of over 2k to fix this issue after being told by the dealership that there were no flaws with the car, and it was 100% inspected. I will never use this dealership again and I do not recommend anyone using this scummy dealership. I bought a high-end car for over retail and they either didn't check or didn't disclose that there was a leak in the condenser???

Went into the EchoPark facility in…Chesterfield MO. Don’t bother.

Went into the EchoPark facility in Chesterfield MO today. It was similar to going into the DMV. Waited to see someone even though I had an appointment. Told me it would be 30 minutes. 45 minutes later I still had no answer. Then later got a text for about 1/2 the retail value for my vehicle. Kind of insulting. I’m wondering if this place will be open very long? Wondering if it’s government sponsored or something as it appears to be finished worse than most government buildings.

Had a terrible experience with this…

Had a terrible experience with this dealership in Charlotte, NC. The vehicle purchased was a lemon and we had to pay $1,000 to have it towed back to the dealership due to their mileage rule, as we lived three hours away. The air conditioner was not working properly on one side. The vehicle handled horribly with speed and felt like it was out of control. There was also a repaired crack in the windshield. We did not see this, as it was raining the day we purchased and could not see it. Proceed with GREAT caution....the people you will talk to you don't actually know anything about the vehicle they are selling you. The test drive route they give you, does not allow you to get over 55 mph to fully see how a car handles.

Great Service

My daughter purchased a car at EchoPark and was very pleased with the experience. I went a week later and purchased a car. Shikar (Shaq) Hawramy, Experience Manager, was top notch, very helpful and knowledgeable. The best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a vehicle.

Be aware of the superfine print

Be aware of the superfine print! We saw a deal listed as "Great" for the car we were interested in buying, and visited Echo Park to test drive/buy the car. It wasn't until we asked for the purchase order that we discovered an added fee for some "Paint Protection". NOT listed on the Autotrader ad - apparently is IS listed on Echo Park's website... if you scroll all the way to the bottom. They refused to remove the fee.

Got a Lemon

Where I’m from, it’s called a lemon. Things started going wrong less than 1 month after purchase. I needed new brakes/rotors etc, over $1100. It wasn’t that Echo lied about a good inspection prior selling it- it’s the run around, several more credit checks & no accountability when I sought an exchange. In under 5 months, 2 major repairs plus a 3rd (engine light on) to be done when I come up w/additional $1K to fix/ invoice attached.

Before I had left last visit, customer “satisfaction” reps agreed- I was out of luck for buying a crappy car FROM THEM because they wouldn’t exchange a car w/no value. Echo’s final offer after I had purchased, made car payments + 2 repairs in under 5 months was to ask for
+ $5k down payment on a different car. Yes, they asked me for $5000 more dollares, That’s my experience w/ Echo.

They Lied about the add on products…

They Lied about the add on products they sold to us on the car and we asked for a refund and they refused. The salesman was fired weeks later but the manager refused to give us a refund on false information given by the salesman.

I bought a truck from Echo Park in…

I bought a truck from Echo Park in Thorton Colorado last year. When I got home my boyfriend right away said I had an exhaust leak. As a female medical professional and not a mechanic I was not able to detect this when I bought the truck. I find it sneaky and dishonest to sell something that has an obvious problem to a women/person that clearly isn't mechanical. I wasn't too concerned because I bought the extra warranty. Long, long, long story short it took them over 5 months, multiple trips to dealerships hours away to approve the repair. In the end they shorted me $800 because the cost of repairs had increased in the 5 months they took from getting the estimate to approving the repair with the price increase during the post pandemic supply shortage and more damage being done during those 5 months of having to wait and nag. Don't trust them, classic used car salesmen.

Generation of untrained kids (except for social science and equality))

I found that Thornton EP is a fast talk poorly managed z and millennial dealership.. Many lack social skills yet make $25/hr to sell overpriced (3-6k over KBB) cars.
They keep sending emails asking to sell a car I bought there so I called and they didn't know what to say or how to proceed. As if no one knew EP runs ads..? Their website page designed to value cars and contact sellers is dysfunctional and calling was a waste of time. This is our future folks. The Colorado indoctrinated woke generation in charge.

Purchased a car 3 months ago

Purchased a car 3 months ago. I told the salesperson I already had an approved rate with my credit union. She said they could match it with who they used which they did. She did not tell me they were going to pull my credit 4 times. Also, I told her I wanted nothing extra just the car. She added everything else she could permaplate, interior detailing, gap and extended warranty without telling me. They make you sign on an iPad which makes it very difficult to see what you're agreeing to. They then take your car and clean it. Which is actually adding the permallate and interior protectant without your knowledge. They print off documents and put them in an envelope. When I realized she had added everything costing $6,000 I requested all to be canceled. The told they protectant couldn't be canceled because it was applied. This is a scam! Now I'm having trouble getting anything refunded.

Don't stay away from this place....RUN

Don't stay away from this place....RUN. Checking on vehicle availability means nothing as you will be told it is available just to get you into their store. They confirmed 2x during the day with me that the car I was interested in was still available. After driving a hour to the dealership, guess what... Shoddy operation, typical bait and switch. Too many other options to purchase a vehicle from a more reputable dealer. If trust matters, then find another place to purchase your next vehicle.

Our associate did not mention or point…

Our associate did not mention or point out our windshield had been replaced. We tried to contact Echopark for ten days to try and set up a return with the same model. We were even willing to pay the difference in vehicle costs.
We were finally able to contact Echopark and they suggested we trade in the vehicle. Trade in the vehicle we purchased from them a week ago because our safety fears are not important enough to make a customer for life.

Upselling and can't get vehicle licensed. Horrible customer service

My son bought a truck here. Thank goodness my husband was available to help him with the final paperwork. The finance guy had sold him on a "care package" that would've significantly increased his loan and took advantage of a young man buying his first vehicle. Now we are dealing with delay after delay while attempting to get the title so that we can register the vehicle. Echopark makes nothing but excuses. It has been over two months and still waiting. All we get is apologies but no action. Customer service after you sign the dotted line is atrocious.

George Harris I Was Impressed!

I was positively impressed on my first ever visit to EchoPark Charlotte. It was different because I first had to set an appointment. Everything went as planned since they did have me listed as an expected visitor. I met George Harris, who turned out to be a knowledgeable and attentive salesman. Upon my next day visit, I arrived back and found my selected vehicle was all ready for me to drive it off the lot. The deal negotiating stage was smoother and more non-combative than I had prepped myself to expect. When finished, we wrapped up a win-win situation.

Sexist, explotive, and deceptive

They sell lemons!!!! I bought a jeep, PAID 26,000$, it broke down 4 days later. I purchased the car on June 25th, I've had the car for 4 days, it's now August 11th. They gave me no updates on my car-AT ALL. they expect me to drive 45 minutes EVERY WEEK to switch out loaners (which takes over an hour each time) WHEN ITS THEIR FAULT FOR SELLING ME A LEMON. Richard Lagano is the absolute worst manager I've ever dealt with. I wouldn't recommend hiring him to anyone, he takes advantage of women and he doesn't believe in customer service AT ALL.

Sales rep lied to me during purchase…

Sales rep lied to me during purchase which ended up with me paying more tax. Now going through trying to get something done with the title and I have been given the run around multiple times with no one seeming to help.

The car was a decent deal but with dealing with all the other stuff is a giant pain, buy somewhere else if you can. The second they sign the contract the post sale support is pretty terrible.
