Honestly I love going to Cooper, my freshman year was online due to COVID so my experience might be different from others but I believe Cooper is a good school. It's extremely diverse which as a bi-racial student makes me feel much more comfortable, I also feel like this allows us to learn more about each other. The only "issue" at Cooper seems to be the fights, people say our school is ghetto because of this but I believe there are fights everywhere so I don't really mind. One thing I would like to see change is just the outreach from students to teachers who need support, we have understanding teachers/counselors and a wide variety of people to help regardless of the situation.
I have mixed emotions about the school, most of the teachers are great and love helping prepare students for the next level, but some of the other building staff can be mean at times. Most of the classes are taught pretty well and it should be too hard to keep a passing grade. Overall Cooper was great but a few things could have made my time there much more!
My time being in Cooper High School has fun. I have friends here and there. I would say Cooper High School is a great school but there are something’s that can be fixed. For example our school lunch I would say isn’t the best. There are also some teachers that aren’t the best.
