Been getting eased out for 3 seasons.

And yet we wouldn't have won this title without him.

It would have been in the bag a long time ago if he'd played.

Massive contribution over the last few weeks. Huge.
Brilliant stuff from a humble and very talented player.

Disgracefully under appreciated for years, love him to bits, proper legend material.
Loves the club, no interest in doing anything but playing brilliantly for Celtic

What an impact "shoodirs" has made on our run in. His goals but also his all round play has been pivotal in winning this league.  We know he's not a long-term solution (and, to be fair, he probably does too) but it's great to see a great servant take their opportunity. Gotta be a starter in the Cup Final.

I wouldn’t blame the manager too much for not playing him.

I think the majority of people thought it was time to move on from Forrest and Rodgers tried to give the new guys a chance, it just turned out Forrest was still able to play better than all of them.

Rodgers wants to build a CL capable team and probably thought a 32 year of Forrest wasn’t what needed, which is probably right but a 32 year old Forrest is exactly what we needed in the run in.

Regardless of what happens next year, it’s great he had the end to this season after about 3 seasons where he wasn’t involved a great deal. There’s always recency bias, I’m guilty of it myself, and it’ll ensure he’s remembered well when he does go.

Probably noted elsewhere, but that's him won as many league titles as Aberdeen, Hearts, and Hibs combined.

Not a fan as is well known, but invaluable contribution over the last few months. Well done James

I said it days back.

Hrs saved our season.

He deserves to be recognised as the legend he now is.

I'll never hear a bas word against him.

A guy who played with Artur Boruc and Andy Hinkel should not be playing with Carter-Vickers and Maeda.

Two completely different eras.

Underrated.

Underappreciated (by some).

Our best winger.

That’s how you manage a player in the twilight of his career. Rodgers got the maximum out of him at the most critical time. :worthy: to them both.

Since I changed my avatar from James to Babs in her prime, he’s been like a man possessed. Sorry, wee man, but I’m not changing it back.

Has been a massive part of our 54th title.

Along side Brown he’s a modern day Celtic legend and we don’t see many of those these days

He was born again under BR the first time around, so fantastic to see a real legend still being so pivotal in this brilliant run-in.
