The Candy Cane Inn receives high marks for its prime location near Disneyland, which guests find convenient for their travels. Its offerings, including a praised breakfast service, complimentary shuttle, and a well-kept pool, contribute to its value. While some guests note the rooms are on the smaller side, the cleanliness and modernity, coupled with recent renovations, are widely appreciated. The hotel's attentive staff and the inviting atmosphere, enhanced by festive decorations and cozy fire pits, further elevate the guest experience.

Just returned from 2 nights and would highly recommend. While it's a standard car motel layout, it is beautifully landscaped with large amounts of mature trees, plants and flowers. Rooms at back are very quiet. Our rooms were very clean and had a small frig, microwave and DVD/VHS player. Wifi free and worked fine. Pool was somewhat small (compared to large resort pools) but lushly landscaped so lots of shade & it was not crowded in late afternoon (when we used it) even though inn was full and it was hot. Very close to Disneyland. Easy walking distance. Would go back.

Walking distance to Disneyland (and Downtown Disney a bit further on), but shuttle bus is quicker for morning run.

Nice clean rooms, good continental breakfast - enjoyed outside by the pool. Good wifi access - but TVs probably need updating.

What's not not like. Walking distance from Disneyland, comfortable beds, well-maintained and beautiful property. Throw in a nice continental breakfast, a regular shuttle to Disneyland for families too tired to walk home, and a friendly staff. Very nice,

The only downside - the motel promises in-room WiFi The WiFi doesnt work in the room - the staff said the hardware doesnt work. WiFi is available in the lobby, though.

That's the only downside. When we go back to Disneyland we will stay here again

Took the family to Disneyland for the first time, and stayed at the Candy Cane Inn on a friend's recommendation. Couldn't have been happier. Free parking, free breakfast, free internet, and free shuttle to and from Disneyland. The rooms were sparkling and spacious with 2 queen beds and they even had turn-down service. All this for a reasonable price. And not even a 10-minute walk to Disneyland, if you want the exercise. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel just exceeded our expectations in so many ways. From excellent price to excellent location (on the same block as Disneyland so no street crossing) and staff (really made our experience), this hotel is where we will book every time we go back to Disneyland from now on. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Rooms were very well kept and cleaned. Staff so friendly and helpful. Shuttle service to/from Disneyland was perfect (and free) and the breakfast included in the morning is more than enough to start your day and carry you through to lunch to save a few $$ on meals.

I've stayed at the Candy Cane Inn in the Fall of 2010 and 2011 and have plans to return again at somepoint this year as well. The hotel is literally only a few minutes walk to Disneyland and California Adventure, and it is on the same side of the street. Garden Walk is on the other side of the street, just a few blocks down. Walking is easy and convenient; however, if you get tired they have a frequent shuttle. There is a convenience store at the corner that is open 24-hours for coffee, etc. However, Candy Cane Inn does a wonderful job at serving a continental breakfast in the morning. You have your choice of cereal, yogurt, danish, fruit, juices and coffee/tea. The pool is small, but there is a hot tub and everything is well maintained and clean. The grounds are absolutely georgous. There are many, many plants, flowers, and foliage everywhere! The rooms are very well decorated and clean and roomy enough for 3-4 people to get around. Also, it is a maker-or-breaker for me with first impressions, which include the front desk staff. From the first time I've ever contacted them, everyone -- and I mean EVERY ONE of them -- have gone above-and-beyond to make my stay great! I really enjoy staying at this hotel... it is my hotel of choice for when I go to Disneyland! Vakay

I'm a realist. I believe you get what you pay for. I rarely book a hotel, and enter the property with expectations higher than what I have of my own home.

But wow.. Candy Cane Inn- You've gone & done it. I now have a standard set in my head of what a hotel should be!

I have visited Southern California, and in particular Anaheim many, many times. And never have I had a more pleasant stay in a hotel. I believe a holiday is what you make it, and my holiday probably still would have been great, but for some reason after a long hard day at Disney, being able to walk back to my hotel, and not have to cross a high way really made me feel at ease. I actually enjoyed just hanging out at the Candy Cane Inn. Popping down to the convenient store for snacks & sleeping on those heavenly pillows!

And to top it all off, being able to see those spectacular, magical fireworks from the comfort of my own balcony rocked!

Well done Candy Cane Inn, you've earnt yourself a loyal customer!

Candy Cane Inn is a GREAT place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My family had the opportunity to stay in both the standard and premium rooms. While the premium room has extra perks and larger rooms, the standards are great too! The rooms were super quiet. Both rooms were by the stairs and I was worried it would be loud with all of the foot traffic. Aside from the occassional excited child we hardly heard any noise. We spent only a small amount of time in the rooms as we were in Disneyland ALL day. We did have a chance to take advantage of the pools, and the kids pool is really great. It was nice to be able to relax in the sun while my son played in the shallow pool! The grounds are beautiful and extremely well maintained.
The only advice I have, because I don't want to call it a complaint since it wasn't a big deal to us, is to get to breakfast early. If you have a premium room be sure to order breakfast delivery. It is worth it. When we were in the standard room we got breakfast and brought it to our room. It gets a bit crowded in the dining area. The breakfast is very low key but great as we had been eating all kinds of "fair" type food in Disneyland.
The walk to Disneyland is great. If you are in relatively good health it will be a breeze. From the exit gate at Disney to the hotel is 12 minutes at a normal walk. We had amazing weather so we didn't mind walking. The shuttle was prompt and clean. We mostly used it to get to the park as we had a difficult time keeping ourselves on schedule for pickup!
We will absolutely stay here again!

Love the Candy Cane Inn! The staff is so nice. Clean and good location. Good for family vacation. The only thing I would say is there are alot of kids here so you are probably not going to sleep in in the morning as they tend to be loud and excited walking down the hall. But who wants to sleep in anyway when visiting DL?!

We regularly stay in Anaheim and that includes on occasion staying at the Disneyland Hotel. We stood in the premium room with our three young boys for 2 nights. Even though we arrived early the staff was friendly and made us feel welcomed from check-in until check-out. They accommodated to any of our request and really made our stay special. The walk to the park was no different then walking from Downtown Disney to Disneyland. We took advantage of the turn down service, the bathrobes and complimentary breakfast basket. It was the most comfortable experience that we have ever had and the there is no way that the hospitality at the Disneyland Hotel could match up without charging an outrageous fee.
P.S.
We've already booked our next stay for the "One More Day of Disneyland" celebration.
