Graduate Associate in Development

12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Commencing July or latest by September 2024 
£22,731.80 per annum

The position of Graduate Associate in Development is an exciting new opportunity for a recent (2023 or 2024) graduate interested in learning more about the varied elements of a successful Development Office as well as gaining valuable skills and experience within a busy office.

The successful candidate will be exposed to a spectrum of fundraising activities, event delivery, alumni relations and stewardship as well as key administrative functions. It will provide opportunities for creativity and will require an open and flexible approach to suit the ever-changing demands and priorities of a busy office within an ancient and friendly Oxford college.

Cleaner (Casual)

Responsible to:              Housekeeping Operations & Accommodation Manager and Housekeeping Supervisors

The Housekeeping team are looking to recruit casual cleaners who enjoys tasks such as cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, windows, communal areas - which are situated on various ‘staircases’ within the College sites.

Several positions are available for a fixed term period to support the busy summer conference period.

Lodge Porter – Nights (Receptionist)

Contract type: Full-Time, permanent

Salary:  starting at £27,278 per annum rising to £27,550 per annum after probationary period, plus a night allowance of £1,500 per annum, paid monthly

Shift pattern: Nightshift – 18:30 hours to 06:30 hours, 3 days on and 3 days off, average 42 hours/week, inclusive of some weekends and bank holidays

The Lodge is very much the gateway to the College and on a daily basis our team of Porters welcome and assist a significant number of Fellows, students, staff and visitors from all over the world. The role is a very busy and public facing one in which the Porters are required to provide the highest possible standards of service at all times.

We would like to hear from applicants who enjoy working with and assisting a wide range of people, and who enjoy variety and responsibility. You will be naturally personable and able to demonstrate experience of working in a public facing role that has involved providing great customer service.       

Benefits include:

Working hours are 42 per week on a ‘3 days on and 3 days off’ 6-week cycle. The equivalent of 7.6 weeks holiday, meal allowance, uniform, OSPS pension scheme, private health cover, use of the College fitness facilities and onsite parking.
