Sarah Jessica Parker is no stranger to the Met Gala.

The And Just Like That… star attended fashion’s biggest night in a cream-colored structured midi gown from Richard Quinn with crystal embellishments, and a (major!) matching oversize hat from Phillip Treacy.

To walk the 2024 gala carpet at New York’s Museum of Metropolitan Art, Parker paired the look with matching tights, nude stiletto pumps, and a pearl strand necklace that nearly swept the floor. For her glam for the evening, she opted to have her hair in lush, blown-out curls styled into a high half-ponytail, and her signature gray-smoky eye shadow and a nude lip. As her date for the evening, the actor brought along her longtime friend Bravo host extraordinaire Andy Cohen.

Parker often opts to wear bold designers for the Met Gala: She wore an Elizabeth Hobbs Keckley–inspired Christopher John Rogers creation in 2022, and a gold Nativity-inspired Dolce & Gabbana creation in 2018.

The actor shared a sneak peek of her look on Instagram before hitting the carpet, posting a snapshot of herself checking her makeup before heading out.

"The first Monday in May. Final touches with @elaineoffers and @charlottetilbury," she wrote on Instagram. "Next stop,@MetMuseum. X, SJ"

It’s safe to say Parker made sure to clear her schedule to attend this year’s Met Gala—the actor posted on Instagram earlier this week that work on the third season of HBO’s And Just Like That… was already under way. Parker posted a picture from the cast’s first table read for the new season.

“Here. We. Go.,” she captioned the post, which featured a script from the upcoming season of the Sex and the City revival series and the her “Carrie” character name card.
