  1. Post update

    That's all from me.

Go check out Gary Rose's match report on that victory for Crystal Palace.

The Champions League is back tomorrow as Liverpool take on Benfica and Manchester City host Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals.

    See you then!

  2. 'Not our best performance but a performance we expect'

    FT: Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira, speaking to BBC Sport: "It was a really good team performance. There have been games where we performed well but didn't take our chances but today we performed well from the start and we managed to win the game and not concede.

"I don't think it is the best performance, it is the performance we want and expect. At the beginning of the season we had some highs and lows. Today we played well for the first minute and I am really proud of the players.

"Our objective now is to try and performance like that and that is the challenge for us."

On Jean-Philippe Mateta's impressive performances: "It is confidence and belief from his team-mates. They give him the ball and he is taking the chance. He doesn't need a lot of chances to score, he is a proper scorer. He believes in himself and everyone believes in him."

More on Arsenal: "We know the quality they have. They have a really good goalkeeper. We needed everybody to perform well to get something from the game and we did it today.

"What was important was to win the game and climb the table. This is the challenge for the players and the club. We have quality and we know we can perform, we need to do it on a consistent basis."

Mo: Points on the board > games in hand.

Piemontemio: Arsenal had 68% possession, 11 shots to 6, 2 corners to 0 and a 3-0 defeat to show for it. Dare I say it - very Spursy!

Daniel: Worst performance of the season. Can't play like that if we want to finish strongly.

  4. 'I apologise to our supporters'

    FT: Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

    Arsenal

More from Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta to Sky Sports: "Congratulations to Palace for the game they played but we made it impossible for ourselves with the way we competed. You have to be physical and run and then you earn the right to play. We were really inconsistent on the ball and that is unacceptable.

"We were poor, especially in the first half. I apologise to our supporters. We didn't have the presence today or the composure to dominate the situation so that is what I'm most annoyed with. Some days you are not there and you are late all the time. They got on top of it and had a good atmosphere and we could not get out.

"When we had the big chances we didn't score to give ourselves the best chance to get back in the game. First of all we need to put our hands up and get the criticism we deserve. Then we accept it, look ourselves in the mirror and look to the next game. This was not good enough.

"We have to face the challenge and the opportunity is in our hands. We have to be honest with ourselves and support each other."

  5. 'This performance was not good enough for this club'

    FT: Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

    Arsenal

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta: "From the beginning we were not at the races. When you come here you have to compete. you have to win duels and second balls and be aggressive and we were none of those and top of that we were really poor on the ball.

"We tried in the second half, we had three or four big chances but the only half chance they had they got a penalty.

"It is time to accept the criticism, put your hand up and apologise because this performance was not good enough for this club and then react. When everything goes well everyone wants to be there and be supportive.

"Congratulations to Palace because they deserved to win the game. They always play like this.

"We are humble enough to accept the criticism. You don't feel sorry for yourself because we lost players and a football match."

  6. 'We have an exciting end to season'

    FT: Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

    Crystal Palace

More from Patrick Vieira to Sky Sports: "The energy Jean-Philippe Mateta brings to the team allows others behind him to do the same. It forces players behind to follow. He is a massive player. A lot of people will talk about the goal he scored but the passion and work-rate he shows every day is a huge plus for the team.

"We knew there would be challenges. I have fantastic support from the people around. I came into a club where the foundations are solid. They are about everything around the team that helps us to perform.

"It is a good point for the club but we know we need to be consistent in our performances and results. We have an exciting end to the season so we will try to perform as well as we did today."

  7. 'We played a really good game'

    FT: Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira to Sky Sports: "I'm really proud. We played a really good game of football. We defended well and took our chances. We scored in important moments of the game. We needed a big team performance and we did it so we're really pleased.

"We wanted to put pressure on and the atmosphere in the stadium allowed us to take that kind of risk. We were really smart with the way we defended from the front and took the chances to score goals.

"This football club is all about supporting the team and when we are at home we really feel that. The players were tired but the big difference is the atmosphere and the fans behind the players."

  8. Three in five for Mateta

    FT: Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

    Crystal Palace

Jean-Philippe Mateta has scored three goals in his last five Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace, one more than he managed in his previous 17 for the Eagles (2).

Jordan Ayew has scored four Premier League goals against Arsenal, his joint-best tally against an opponent in the competition (also 4 v Watford and West Ham).

  9. 'Pathetic from Arsenal'

    FT: Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

    Chris Sutton

Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Arsenal's first half performance was really pathetic when you think of the position they had got themselves in. With this performance, is it one that derails their season? Does it take Kieran Tierney to inspire the team with his attitude?

Arsenal were well off it tonight.

  10. Post update

  11. 'Palace are absolutely fearless'

    FT: Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

    Chris Sutton

Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Crystal Palace are absolutely fearless and they have some wonderful attacking options. Wilfried Zaha looks to be absolutely on top of his game and Jean-Philippe Mateta this season has been excellent. He bullied the Arsenal centre-backs. Conor Gallagher was here, there and everywhere. Palace were excellent.

  12. How the table looks

That result means Arsenal stay in fifth, one place below the Champions League qualification spots.

They are level on points with rivals Tottenham but the 3-0 scoreline has harmed their goal difference, which is now five behind Spurs.

Arsenal do still have a game in hand. They still have Spurs, West Ham and Manchester United to play so there could be lots of movement still to come in the top four battle.

    .
  13. 'Thoroughly deserved win'

    FT: Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

    Chris Sutton

Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

How does Arteta pick this team up for the next game?

Crystal Palace have pummelled Arsenal this evening, more determined, better quality in the final third. They thoroughly deserve this win.

  14. FULL-TIME

    Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

All over at Selhurst Park. A brilliant win for Palace. A night to forget for Arsenal who remain in fifth.

  15. Post update

    Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

Gabriel Martinelli can't get past Tyrick Mitchell. It's switched over to Granit Xhaka and he fires one over the bar from long range.

  16. INJURY TIME

    Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

Three minutes of suffering left for Arsenal.

  17. Post update

    Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

Emile Smith Rowe's cross is blocked. Palace are running the clock down now.

  18. Post update

    Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

Granit Xhaka drags a shot from long range comfortably into Vicente Guiata's arms.

  19. 'How damaging will this be for Arsenal?'

    Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

    Chris Sutton

Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Palace are very, very comfortable. Where does Mikel Arteta go from here and how damaging will this be for Arsenal?

  20. HITS THE WOODWORK

    Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

Some nice touches from Arsenal on the edge of the box and when Conor Gallagher tries to clear, he's quickly surrounded.

It comes to Bukayo Saka and he curls one brilliantly off the top right corner of the post. Terrific effort!
