I will never understand the hatred for the refrigerator scene — it’s a marvelous set-piece and very much in the spirit of the whole franchise. You want a low point? How about Shia LaBeouf’s Mutt swinging through the trees alongside a bunch of CGI monkeys?

A film that at times highlights Spielberg's Magic (™), and that is definitely not HORRIBLE, just... disappointing. Thankfully, "Dial of Destiny" ended up being a better farewell for the famous archaeologist played by Harrison Ford. Full review in Spanish.

Yeah this is movie is whatever, not even half as good as the original 3 Indi flicks, the only main things I like about this is the villains and that Marrion is back (even though she doesn't do anything for the plot, the CG not good and acting clunky not a very good movie for such a long wait

What I find odd is that people dismiss this one as too silly, as if its predecessors were these overtly logical movies set in a realistic environment and not pulp entertainment. I think it is just as fun as the previous ones and this idea of using the genre conventions of the era the film is set in was great. Too bad the inheritors of this franchise didn't end up following through with that concept.

Aaaand we're back in the realm of mediocrity…! How?! This makes two-for-two, with every other movie being either brilliant or lousy. This had a lot that could have been put to better use within the story, but instead no single element ever really reaches its potential. So, we get left with an ambling adventure devoid of any real oomph!
