- rachaelf81St Martin, UK12 contributionsWe took the 30 min tour with Dan - who was absolutely fantastic! We didn’t really know what to expect but would definitely recommend and would probably do the hour long one next time we’re in Oxford. The library was stunning and Dan made the tour interesting, funny, informative and much more.Written May 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Corrina HSouthampton, UK23 contributionsWe have a Harry Potter fan in the family so we visited Christ Church specifically to see the stairs, great hall and cloisters but we were amazed at how much else there was to see!
We especially liked the Alice in Wonderland information and the the No Peel door!
This multimedia guide tour was great and we would have missed so many little details if we hadn't used it.
There's an adult tour and a family one that has some interactive games. The information on the guide tells you about unseen parts of the college and also has interviews with students and staff which I found really interesting.
We had a 10am slot so it wasn't too busy and all of the staff we spoke to were really friendly.
The toilets were clean and the gift shop was good

I was fortunate to visit at a quiet time of the day and the weather was warm and sunny. The porters were so friendly too- providing me with a map and explaining where I should go to access the grounds.Written May 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - P J TravellerKongsberg, Norway86 contributionsMajestic church right in the University area.
This place has Mahatma Gandhi on the roof. That’s more like a trivia and one might not be able to find unless you ask one of the friendly staff at reception.Written April 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - louiseholisticPenarth, UK1,395 contributionsA pretty place with the Thames in full flow during our visit after a lot of rain. Luckily it was dry so we were able to look around and enjoy the atmosphere. Be wary of aggressive cyclists sharing the towpath. Many don’t possess bells and assume priority.Written March 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
