Is Paramount+ a different service than CBS All Access?
Paramount+ is an expansion of CBS All Access as you knew it then, with even more content and features. You can still stream all your favorite hit CBS shows, originals, CBS classics and live TV, but Paramount+ introduces you to exclusive new originals and thousands of additional episodes from CBS, BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon and Smithsonian Channel, plus hundreds of movies from Paramount Pictures. There's something for every mood and every family member.
What does this mean for my CBS All Access subscription?
If you're an existing CBS All Access subscriber, don't worry you won't miss a moment. We've seamlessly transferred your subscription to Paramount+, so you can continue to stream all your favorite shows, movies, originals and live TV. Just sign in at paramountplus.com or on the Paramount+ app with the same email address and password you used to sign up for CBS All Access.
Do I need to download a new app to watch Paramount+?
No, the existing CBS All Access app has switched to Paramount+. You may need to sign in again with the email address and password you used to sign up for CBS All Access.
What plans are available for Paramount+, and how much do they cost?
The following plans are available:
- Limited Commercials. Stream with limited commercial interruptions for $5.99/month or $59.99/year.
- Commercial Free. Watch with zero ads for just $9.99/month or $99.99/year. Please note that live TV streams have commercials, and a few shows include brief promotional interruptions to keep you in the loop on new and upcoming Paramount+ programming.
Heads-up that later this year, the current Limited Commercials plan will be discontinued, and a new $4.99/month (plus applicable tax) plan that does not include access to your live CBS station will be introduced. This will not affect current subscribers unless you cancel and resubscribe after this plan is introduced. At that time, you’ll only be able to choose between the new $4.99/month plan with limited commercials and without the ability to stream your local live CBS station, or the existing Commercial Free plan. The exact date will be announced as it gets closer.
Can I still use my gift card with Paramount+, or are Paramount+ gift cards available?
Yes to both! CBS All Access gift cards remain a valid form of payment for Paramount+, and do not expire. Paramount+ gift cards are now available. Stay tuned for more information on where you can purchase them.
Can I still watch all my favorite CBS shows and originals on Paramount+?
Yes! And not only are you still able to watch all your favorite CBS shows, originals, CBS classics and live TV with Paramount+, but you now have access to tens of thousands of episodes, movies and even more exclusive originals from BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures and Smithsonian Channel.
What new originals and exclusive content are available on Paramount+?
In addition to our originals, including fan-favorite series Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard, The Twilight Zone and The Stand, plus returning seasons of hits like The Good Fight and No Activity, we've added even more originals and exclusive content to Paramount+, like Kamp Koral, a new original from Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants.
More will be announced in the coming months, so stay tuned!
