Motorcyclist not wearing helmet dies after crash in northwest El Paso

A deadly motorcycle crash was reported in northwest El Paso Monday morning.

The crash happened at 7769 Hunter Foster and 7800 Enchanted Pass around 7 a.m.

Officials said the motorcyclist identified as 28-year-old Alexis Rivera from Sunland Park, New Mexico died.

Police officials said Rivera was driving on Enchanted Pass when for unknown reasons Rivera lost control of the motorcycle.

The motorcycle struck a curb, a barricade and a non-trespassing sign.

Rivera was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the scene.

Officials said Rivera was not wearing a helmet.

This is the 24th traffic fatality compared to 21 at this time last year.
