Hosted by KABZ 103.7 The Buzz, the 20th annual Doublebee’s Buzz-B-Q will be held Saturday, May 11 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Downtown Riverside RV Park in North Little Rock.

 

At the event, over 50 teams will compete in the “Pro Joe” and “Average Joe” divisions for their share of more than $9,000 in cash and other prizes. With categories including pork, ribs, chicken, sauce, brisket and side dishes, a grand champion with be crowned for both “Average Joe” and “Pro Joe.”

 

“The whole Buzz team is excited to once again have a chance to connect with our listeners and these great competitors at BuzzBQ! Come early and eat often at one of central Arkansas’ best events!” said Justin Acri, general manager of 103.7 The Buzz. 

 

The 2024 Doublebee’s Buzz-B-Q will feature some of the best barbecue in the state, plus great live music from Luke Williams with Big Shane Thornton (12 p.m. to 1 p.m.), Taylor Made Rocks Unplugged (1:15 p.m. to 2:25 p.m.), Bad Habit’s Jack Bennett (2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.) and Bree Ogden (3:45 p.m. to 5 p.m.). Patrons will choose the People’s Choice winner by voting for their favorite sample. Radio personalities from 103.7 The Buzz will be on hand to serve as emcees for the event.

 

The Buzz-B-Q event will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas and North Louisiana. Tickets are available now for $10 at buzzbq.com.
