I like Midwestern State University mainly because of its diversity, I have never felt 'not at home' in any way. the academics are solid with a side of friendly professors. They do not offer a lot of variety in their academic programs but the ones they do are very strong. In my experience so far, the average student-teacher ratio in a class looks like about 15 to 30 students to one professor. I like it because it allows me to ask questions without feeling shy and it makes me feel like I have a chance at making a few study buddies in class. The on-campus housing is very comfortable and affordable. There are even on-campus apartments and those places are so beautiful! They also have very nice student leaders and staff. The dining food, however, is what you would expect any institution's dining food to be. The good part is that there are other places on campus to get food like Chick-fil-A. The clubs and organizations are very fun and supportive. It is a very lovely school overall

Midwestern is my hometown's college. Growing up, I felt like going to a college in town ruined my chances of being able to experience growth in both my academic and adult life. I was proven wrong. The university is on the smaller side, which allows for easier connection and communication with professors. So far, I have not met a professor I have not enjoyed learning from. I was busy with work and homework for most of my freshman year, but I could properly manage my workload thanks to the overflowing amount of resources accessible on campus. There is never not something happening on or around the campus when it comes to social activities. I plan on indulging in them more this upcoming year, as there is something for everyone. I am glad that my preconceived notions about MSU were proven wrong. Even though I am currently an undergrad student, I plan on pursuing a graduate degree at MSU as well.

I'm personally from Wichita Falls, the same town that MSU is located, so I might be a little biased about the location and related topics, so please keep that in mind. If I had to rate my overall experience at MSU out of 5 I would give it a 5. I absolutely loved my time at MSU. I was a student athlete, playing men's golf, and when it comes to the athletics at MSU I would say it's 2nd to none for D2. When it comes to Wichita Falls as a place to live I would say it's one of the biggest small towns out there. You aren't going to be short on places to eat or night life activities, but you won't have to worry about traffic or getting swallowed up by the city either. On the school side of things, the teachers are definitely there for you and since its a medium sized university you can always find time to meet with teachers if need be. I would say the schooling is top notch, but where the school lacks is in the student life. Frats, sororities, clubs, etc. need a major upgrade in my opinion.
Great school.. Small campus but has a world of culture! small classes. There are always activities to do. You will never be bored at MSU!
Midwestern is a great diverse school. There is a Caribbean family on campus and it felt great having people who identified with me. The community of Wichita Falls is also very involved in the University and does its best to ensure that students are settling well. My time there was well spent.
The leadership at this school buried abuse accusations and continued to protect my abuser. They failed in allowing me to complete a medical withdrawal due to my abuser having spent my student loan money and forced me to work. This was in a post-baccalaureate program--I had already been a successful undergraduate student. Absolutely unconscionable. I would never recommend to anyone, but especially women.
It's a great school to just focus on your education. It's located in Wichita Falls which is a relatively small town with not much to do. It's a great place to just focus on getting a degree.
So far I have loved my experience at MSU. It is a smaller college, so the class are usually not too big, especially for engineering. For my general classes the biggest I have seen so far is 60 people. This allows you to have better relationship with your teacher and this is extremely for this like late assignments and missed exams. I also just learn better in a smaller classroom. So I far I haven’t had any bad teacher experiences , for the classes I currently have taken or take. If you want to find things to do they are there roller skating, bowling , going out for food. And Dallas is 2-3 hours away so that nice when you want to go there for a few days.
I liked how pretty the campus looked and i liked how nice all the people seemed. The college is close to my family, and I feel safe walking all over. The people who took me on a tour were nice too.
One of the first things I liked about MSU is the fact that we receive a degree plan throughout our time here. I like having an idea of how my time here will look like. Midwestern State University is also a well-credited university in the radiology department specifically. I enjoy knowing that I am receiving a quality education that will benefit me in my future career. I feel the radiology program’s class schedule specifically is a well put together one, and that the amount of time we have to study turned out better than I thought it would. The professors I have had are relatively easy to communicate with. I am also a transfer student and I would say that the process of transferring to MSU was a process that could be followed with a suitable amount of difficulty. When navigating and choosing what area or field of interest on the MSU website I had relative ease. My advisor did well in their ability to guide me through my prerequisite classes before I was accepted into a program.
I have loved being a student at Midwestern State University. My professors are so knowledgeable and I am even looking into getting my Ed.D at Midwestern State University in the future.

Perfect college for me because it is close to where I live. The classes are small for college classes so I feel very connected to my professors.
My overall experience with Midwestern state would honestly have to very enjoyable. I worked for the housing department and it felt like I was always doing an amazing activity every day. The campus life is nice and enjoyable, but the campus is on the smaller side, as well as, some of the building are getting old. On the flip side there were always something to do.
I am a dual credit student and I have only had good experiences with the professors, counselors, and students. I am never afraid to ask for a helping hand in anything school related and always feel super safe on campus. I love attending Midwestern and have enjoyed my time here so far.
