Bio

Born to a famed desert archaeologist and anthropologist father and a renowned preservationist historian mother, Jonathan Warren grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, the most visited city in the world.

He is the Chairman of the Liberace Foundation for the Performing and Creative Arts, Honorary Consul of the Principality of Monaco, Founding President of Academy Francophone which became Alliance Francaise of Las Vegas, and the Nevada Committee on Foreign Relations, which became the Las Vegas World Affairs Council.

Having worked in his youth as everything from field archaeologist and cattle herder to room service waiter to financier, he has become a theme licensor, curator, producer and speaker.

Consul Warren is something of a renaissance man who enjoys traveling the world, great theater, uncovering lost history, collecting and restoring historic vehicles, marksmanship, fencing, archery, and his astonishingly diverse, multicultural cadre of friends and relatives.

Quoted or featured by diverse publications from Desert Companion to Forbes, to Reuters, to the cover the Wall Street Journal, Consul Warren has curated exhibits at the Liberace Garage, Wick Costume Museum, Monte Carlo Fashion Week, the Paris Museum of Modern Art, the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, the MET Gala and more. He has produced licensed theming for television streaming including The Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore (Youtube), Mozart in the Jungle (Amazon Video) and The Jim Gaffigan Show (TV Land); for the live stage including the Costume Designers Guild 2015; and the GRAMMY Awards 2019 (Cardi B featuring Chloe Flower); for video games including Family Guy The Quest For Stuff (TinyCo, Fox Digital Ent.); film including Bladerunner 2049 (Ridley Scott); for live stage productions including Macklemore and Kesha Gemini Tour (Las Vegas), Philip Fortenberry and Chloe Flower; for music video including Chloe Flower (Carol of the Bells, Sony Masterworks); music licensing including for the 2020 Adidas Oscars campaign; and Behind the Music 2022 episode 26 featuring Boy George and Culture Club.

In the early 1980's Jonathan was a field archaeologist working for his father, famous in that field.  In the mid-1980's he became an insurance and securities broker.  He entered private investor real estate lending in 1991, funding tens of millions of dollars in private mortgage loans. In the early 2000's He formed leasing and finance companies.  In 2003 he developed unique banking products which quietly helped cultivate better banking customers.  These have been implemented across the industry in the past two decades, and are a closely held secret at dozens of financial institutions today.

In the post-collapse world after 2008, Consul Warren was instrumental in assisting federal authorities in the identification and prosecution of various intricate financial scams.  His blog postings instruct readers on identification of specific financial crimes, and remain among the most popular reading by victims seeking comprehension and justice.
