This is a 35-metre tall rotunda that resembles what you will see at Galeries Lafayette in Paris. The Rotunda also has a replica Fontaine des Mars that is presently surrounded by over 50 giant tulip artworks that reach up to 5 metres in height.
The Tulip Garden exhibition is the work of Chinese artist Xuan Qing and make for interesting distraction from shopping, dining and browsing at The Shoppes at Parisian. Here you find a charming church on Rua do Seminario just a couple minutes walk southwest of St. Lawrence's Church. The seminary and church was constructed by the Jesuits in 1758 and has a rich local history as a centre of Christian missionary around Asia. Opening hours are 10am to 5pm daily and entry is free.
What you will see is church placed up a set of steps, just like the old Church of Mater Dei (called the Ruins of St. Paul's) and delightful facade and charming interior makes for a very nice sightseeing experience but with a fraction of the number of tourists as what you see at fellow World Heritage attractions around Senado Square. Further, like St. Dominic's Church, there is adjacent Treasure of the Sacred Arts Museum at St. Joseph's if you want to see 18th to early 20th century religious artefacts. I found the app not as helpful as I hoped to help navigate. I think it’d be very useful before entering to know what you had to search out and find so you got to see it all.

It is the oldest tea restaurant and it is the first restaurant that has air conditioners in Macau. It is located in Rua Cinco de Outubro, which was once a prosperous street in Macau. Now it is not as prosperous as it used to be, instead, it remains a strong flavor of local life.
When I first went there, what attracted me a lot was the decoration. Wooden tables and chairs, floral tiles, ceiling fans, it was old-style and Macaunism.
Waiters and waitresses were old people, they were experienced. When we ordered the food, they didn't write it down, they just listened and repeated it to the cook. When we paid for the meal, they didn't use the calculator, just made a quick calculation and told us the price.
As for the food, Nanpingyaxu is famous for its sandwich. I prefer cheese& ham& egg sandwich, egg is thick and tender, toast is not baked, it is very delicious.
The restaurant is located in an alley, so it is a little difficult for people to find it and for cars to get in. So visitors are supposed to walk to the restaurant with friends or family. I was hoping I would be able to buy some western things in the supermarket that I cannot buy on the mainland, or at least at a good price. There were a few things but not as many as I would have hoped. Was looking for Chamomile tea, which they had, but it was not cheap. Bought some organic maple syrup instead. They did seem to have a great bakery section, but the line was too long so I didn't wait.
The food court on the top floor looked good. It's not a huge selection but the prices were very reasonable. Couldn't figure out how to order so I left! lol. You don't order at each food stand, there is some kind of centralised system. The shops cover everything from main street to high end brands, plus there are many restaurants and cafes as well. Best thing the promenade is easy to navigate, can't get lost, only two floors, easy to go just with the flow. Unfortunately, our recent experience suggest this city is made only for Mainland tourist and the Government does not want foreigners to visit this city anymore. This is the truth. Reason? Almost 95% of the hotel and casinos are on Taipa Island in an area called Cotai Strip. Not even one international cuisine restaurant you will find, in any hotel, any food court. You will only find Chinese food in all hotels and food court. The only international brand are garbage food like McDonalds, Starbucks and Shake Shack. Nothing else is available. Some Italian restaurants are there in pm so the o you option is to go to Macao city Center and search for food. You will not find a single Pizza Hut, Subway, Dominos, Dunkin, anything international is hard to find and most restaurants close by 10 pm maximum and including McDonalds. The MCDonalds in the hotel are super pricey. The normal rate for an Apple Pie is 9.00 HKD at the hotel you will pay HKD 21.00 and for a meal it is 43.00 HKD and in the hotel McDonald you will end up paying, depending on the meal between HKD 85.00-120.00 for each meal. Not worth it. - BradHong Kong, China173,036 contributionsThe three room gallery on the ground floor of the historic Leal Senado building is a designated IAM Gallery and is presently holding an interesting exhibition pertaining to the evolution of advertising in Macau, particularly during the 20th-century. There are interesting displays relating to soft drink, cinema, restaurant promotions, making use of historic items from the past. What we liked even better: Spectacular light show on the facade of the hotel at night. And just like me, I’m sure you don’t want to waste so much of your time looking for your favorite designer shops, I suggest you install iGoMacau on your phone you can simply search for the place you want to see from the directory and it will give you directions how to get there. The Morpheus Boutique is an interesting concept when it comes to shopping. You'll find a handful of sections with open layout, lacking walls, just open shopping space. Within there are a range of bespoke shops selling lifestyle, limited-edition and trendy products related to travel, clothing, accessories and other related items.
The Boutique area is attractive and there are some interesting shops and products to look at. You'll find all just past the Morpheus lobby.
