As part of the Silicon Valley Comes to the UK programme of events CCSS students attended the Thought Leadership: Trust, Tech and Transformation debate held at the Babbage Lecture Theatre in Cambridge. Our students were able to hear from industry leaders such as GoogleAI, GoogleX, LightVenture Capital and Shift 7 about how technology is transforming industries, and the evolving importance of trust in that process.
The debate on finding environmentally friendly ways of feeding people and how animal agriculture contributes to global warming are currently hot topics. Our students have been finding out about plant-based products and how they can be an excellent source of protein and other nutrients, often with fewer calories than animal products.
