Overall Roosevelt High School is a good school despite how everyone tend to put it as. But though just like every school there's ups and downs which are we have metal detectives and clear backpacks I get its for our safety but if all our stuff is clear what can we hide. Then there's the popular people I can say myself I know almost everyone and have a solid group of friends but that don't stop them from talking about you. The best part of being at this school is the wonderful people I have met including teachers that are like mothers to me. The things I wish could change is all the violence including other things if you know what I mean.
It was good overall school experience, the teachers are very nice. They're willing to help you with your assignment. They have much resources, however, they do lack AP or IB courses.
The school was poorly maintained and always dirty. There was hardly any competitive school spirit and the school was underfunded, so we received low-tier supplies and stuff. Some teachers were a great help while others not so much. The average GPA and graduation rate says a lot about the school. Regardless, I managed focus on my path and decide what was best for me.
