Derringer got around, he worked with the McCoys, both of the Winter brothers, Steely Dan to mention a few. He was in a band with Edgar Winter called White Trash, a band name that would have had a hard floating today, but a good band none the less

The version of this song on Roadwork is THE version

I agree, in my opinion Roadwork is an all around great album

I always wanted to that ‘band called The Jokers’ he referred to.. apparently they were ’layin it down’

Saw him in concert back in the early '80s. He came out for FIVE encores. He was awesome

Saw him on this album tour. Opened for Aerosmith

Phenomenal song

Still rocks.

I prefer this version over Johnny Winter's one.

His album Derringer worth a listen, especially Comes A Woman.
