Sarah Kennedy Observer If you're struggling with all the sci-fi weirdness of Westworld and never quite got Orphan Black, you will love the straightforward thrills of Goliath. Dec 14, 2016 Full Review Ed Bark Uncle Barky Given all the loose-ended, bizarro world TV dramas currently in play, it turns out to be a distinct pleasure to review a limited series with a linear storyline and a definitive ending. Rated: B+ Oct 19, 2016 Full Review Emily St. James Vox Goliath's commitment to the way TV used to be made, with just enough allowance for how shows are made now, has offered up a best-of-both-worlds scenario. Rated: 3.5/5 Oct 17, 2016 Full Review Kiera Allen Daily Journal (Kankakee, IL) Each episode closes with a twist. Whether that twist is big or small, it gives viewers just enough of a push to want to continue disentangling something that runs a bit deeper than your average court case. Aug 27, 2018 Full Review Jade Budowski Decider [Billy Bob Thornton] carries each scene, trope-laden as they may be (the drinking problem, the cheesy one-liners) with an effortless swagger that's both engaging and exciting. Dec 20, 2017 Full Review Melissa Camacho Common Sense Media Compelling, gritty crime series has nudity, cursing, drugs. Rated: 4/5 Nov 22, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews

Myles H This show is absurd. I was hoping for an intelligent legal thriller. This is not smart at all. It's junk food. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/26/23 Full Review Louise C The First Season of Goliath was very well presented. Billy Bob, as the lead, gives a very convincing performance. The storyline is belevable, and has a few surprises to keep us guessing. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/23/23 Full Review Gareth v Even though this show does follow some well worn tropes, it gets by on good writing and the presence of Billy Bob Thornton. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/24/23 Full Review Bob and Kathy R The show could be good, but it is filled with so much filthy language, that my wife and I find it very objectional. The F word seems to be used in every sentence, from the first thing in the morning until the last words at night. The acting is not so great either, as it is said to be by others. The show is, in genral, very sporadic, with people shouting all the time. And the supposed 11th grade, high school daughter, who looks and acts 35, has got the mouth to make an ordinary person shrink back. Do all Californian's, even smart lawyers, talk like that, all the time. If so, this country is in a world of hurt. Just so sad that our language and culture has come to this state of affairs. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/02/23 Full Review Rory B I watched the 4 seasons and enjoyed all. The only thing I didn't like was in season 2 where Tom I think was his name liked people missing limbs . That was too weird and unnecessary. I didn't think it added to the story. Sad to have finished the 4th season. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Goliath Season 1 ranks with the very best of all streaming offerings ever. Upon later review, it actually becomes even richer in performance and scripting. Billy Bob Thorton should have won every award available. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
