This is a very elegant and stately drama, starring Sayuri Yoshinaga, who is bloody great in this. Minus winning most of the Japaneses best actress awards across the board for this, she won her first Japan Academy Prize - Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for both Ohan and this. Sayuri Yoshinaga would go on to win this prize four times, and possibly may still hold the record.
