Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Edward G. Robinson, Jr. was born on March 19, 1933 in Los Angeles. He was the son of legendary actor Edward G. Robinson and actress Gladys Lloyd. He was an actor, appearing in a few films and on television series. Robinson, Jr. led a troubled life and was known for being a playboy. He started drinking as a teenager and got into trouble with the law numerous times after becoming an adult. He eloped at the age of 19, had a daughter, and was divorced a few years later. He was arrested multiple times for charges including check fraud, drunken driving, and assault and robbery. He married twice more and died of a heart attack on February 26, 1974. Photograph caption dated March 20, 1962 reads "'I don't know what happened...I was in the back seat." Robinson is in a hospital being pushed in a wheelchair by a nurse. He was a passenger in a car with a friend when the friend lost control and the car crashed. He is wearing a hospital gown and has a bandage on the bridge of his nose.
