A Dynamic Learning Environment Fostering a Community of Excellence Sierra Canyon School offers a premier independent school education among the state of California and across the country. Wide-ranging Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses are available. English as a Second Language (ESL) courses are not available. International students thrive in comprehensive and rigorous curriculum designed to prepare students for entry into the top universities in the United States and abroad. Sierra Canyon’s International Student Coordinator serves as a college counselor to all international students and assists them in submitting college applications and preparing for the TOEFL & SAT or ACT. The school day runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Fridays. Students have the opportunity to participate in numerous clubs and sports on campus as well as take advantage of the many arts, cultural, entertainment, and athletic offerings

Sierra Canyon School is located in the Northwest corner of Los Angeles and is in close proximity to Beverly Hills, Universal Studios, Hollywood, and the famous Malibu and Venice beaches. International students appreciate the School’s beautiful campus and surroundings, the safe neighborhoods where the campus is situated, and easy access to Los Angeles International Airport. A well-established homestay program is managed by a highly experienced International Student Coordinator. Homestay families are interviewed extensively prior to selection and pairing up with international students. Sierra Canyon School is accredited by Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), California Junior Scholarship Federation (CJSF), is a member of the Cum Laude Society, and has a National Honor Society chapter.

Tuition for 2021–22 Year* *Tuition for the 2022-23 year to be set by January 2022.

Grades 9–12 with Homestay or Boarding $75,500 USD Tuition is for one school year and includes agent fee, books, medical insurance, meals (breakfast & dinner provided by homestay family/boarding residence + $900 on-campus lunch account), transportation to and from school, program fees (mandatory field trips), I-20 and one-time emergency fee. It does not include personal expenses. (Tuition without homestay/boarding is $58,000 USD.)
