HRH Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed, son of Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud, is a businessman and entrepreneur, and runs his Saudi based company KBW from Riyadh. The Prince is also a keen supporter of animal rights issues, being vocal in his opposition of hunting, blood-sports, and animal cruelty.

Prince Khaled was born in Stanford in 1978, and grew up in Riyadh where he received his early education. He then went on to study Business at the University of New Haven in 1997, graduating in 2000 and working as an associate at Citi. He then joined his father’s company Kingdom Holdings, at which he worked for several years, learning from his father about business and investment. He then set up his own company KBW Investments in 2013, which has several areas of interest including engineering, mining, media, and oil & gas. Prince Khaled is also Chairman of the Saudi Green Building Forum – an initiative set up by King Abdullah to promote green building initiatives in the KSA.
Price Khaled’s KBW invests in a wide array of companies — from more traditional businesses in the construction industry to up and coming tech companies which align with the needs of the modern world.

Khaled has a keen interest in technology, and is an investor and partner in TechnoBuffalo, a technology news site that has rapidly grown from 300,000 page views a month to 15 million in the span of three years. He has been at the forefront of a number of technology innovations — from credit card processing in its early days to SMS based applications.

Prince Khaled also enjoys life outside work, being a keen sportsman who enjoys playing soccer, golf and tennis, as well as snowboards, and his main passion – cars and driving.
