Astronomy enthusiast Ollie Kepler is devastated when his girlfriend Noreen dies unexpectedly. He moves in with his best friend Tom but is repeatedly drawn back to the place of her death, haunted by a broken promise to the woman he loved. In search of redemption, Ollie applies his scientific rigour to escape his torment but the voices in his head become ever louder and Ollie gradually loses his grasp on sanity.
