- Gweilo59London, UK10 contributionsIf you approach your visit as a game you'll have fun. Lots of pushy touts but they're just doing their job.
Copies everywhere, mostly poor quality.
Tailoring is another minefield..... most cut silly corners on thread, zips, buttons etc so your clothes may simply fall apart after a short time, but Jery Cheng and Calvin are both good.
For eyewhere Joseph is great, he owns several stores in the building.Written December 6, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LeonhknyHong Kong, China19,632 contributionsThe Mixc has been a landmark of Shenzhen for decades. It is still an upscale shopping mall in the Guangdong city with all imaginable luxury brands scattered around the huge complex. Quality restaurants are also aplenty. - LeonhknyHong Kong, China19,632 contributionsMission Hill is a major resort at Shenzhen's northern Longhua district. This shopping mall, at the heart of the recreational area, is a lively place popular among locals. While boutiques are mainly international brands, restaurants are aplenty with some hot picks. - MissHK2009Hong Kong, China5,632 contributionsI am quite familiar with this shopping mall now, after staying for 2 nights in a hotel beside the Window of the World which is opposite to this mall. I visited the mall everyday for Chinese cuisine.
The location is very convenient, metro station "Window of the World" (on intersection of lines 1 and 2) is just a footstep away.
The mall has many fashion shops, restaurants and a supermarket on basement. Clean, cozy, decent, not crowded and spacious.
The upscale Westin Hotel is right next to the mall. Another hotel Indigo is very near too. The themed park Happy Valley is 5-min walk away.Written April 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MissHK2009Hong Kong, China5,632 contributionsThere are so many good and large malls in Shenzhen and I never get tired or bored in trying them one by one. Today is my second time visiting this mall which is a bit far from the Futian border to Hong Kong (over half an hour by taxi). It's in Baoan area beyond Nanshan. Metro station is just next to the mall.
Still love it! Clean, very large, cozy with many shops and restaurants of cuisines of different Chinese provinces, price good. Some restaurants are Michellin recommended or starred. Quite some people but not too crowded.
If one goes for dinner, better go before 5:30 pm otherwise you will see a long queue starting from 6pm.Written May 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LeonhknyHong Kong, China19,632 contributionsThis is a unique and unconventional shopping mall in Shenzhen. A short metro ride from downtown, the Upperhills is new, modern and spacious.
