How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

This package offers both a CD and a DVD of a 2004 show from the Shepherd's Bush Empire in London and most enjoyable it is too. The Tubes were always a combination of some great songs and playing combined with their larger than life theatrical visual antics and this continues in that vein. Billed as a 'Wild West Show' it of course isn't but they do mostly dress the part as they work through a pretty good "best of" set ('She's a beauty', 'TV is king', 'White punks...' etc) with a selection of western tunes ('Ghost riders...','Tumbling tumbleweeds' etc) thrown in. There are also some other curve balls such as 'Russell chaps intro' and a truly remarkable version the Beatles' 'I saw her standing there'. In a Tubes frame of mind - open for some fun and don't take it at all seriously - this represents a great value aural and visual piece of entertainment which is what they've always been all about. It's probably unlikely to convert you if you're not already a Tubes fan.

When it started, I thought, "Oh Noooo", but it is a great show and not as 'Western-ised' as I worried that it might be. Yes, they're getting past it (a little) but that in reality, that actually adds to their charm and the show is actually a stonker.... But not a patch of the 70's shows at the Hammersmith Odeon. There was nothing like them at the time. Great music and so entertaining.
To many artists take themselves much to seriously. The Tubes take the music seriously but really enjoy the laugh at life...
Will be going to see them later this year. Definitely.
