What’s the difference between the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME network that I get through my TV provider, and the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan on Paramount+?
The Paramount+ with SHOWTIME network is a premium television channel available via a TV provider’s service (e.g. cable, satellite, telco or streaming television providers), while the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan is one of the plans you can subscribe to as part of the Paramount+ streaming service.
Here’s a breakdown of what you get with each:
PARAMOUNT+ WITH SHOWTIME NETWORK VIA TV PROVIDER
A subscription to the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME network through your TV provider includes access to the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME channel, SHOWTIME multi-plex channels (TMC and Flix), as well as Paramount+ with SHOWTIME On Demand* and through your TV provider streaming app.
In addition, some customers** will receive a subscription to the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan on Paramount+ at no extra cost! You’ll activate your Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan on Paramount+ by going to paramountplus.com/link and following the instructions.

PARAMOUNT+ WITH SHOWTIME PLAN ON PARAMOUNT+
Paramount+ is a subscription streaming service that gives you access to over 45,000 episodes and movies, exclusive originals, live sports and more. We have two plans: Paramount+ Essential and the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan. If you’re a Paramount+ with SHOWTIME network customer with a participating TV provider, you’ll also receive a subscription to the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan on Paramount+ at no extra cost. Not only can you stream Paramount+ programming ad-free*, but you can also watch your live, local CBS station (which includes the NFL on CBS and other live sports), download shows and movies for offline viewing, PLUS stream all your SHOWTIME favorites!
*Live TV has commercials and some Paramount+ shows have promotional interruptions.
How do I activate my Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan on Paramount+?
It’s fast and simple! Just make sure you’re a Paramount+ with SHOWTIME network subscriber with a participating TV provider, then verify your TV provider account to start streaming.
From your desktop or mobile web browser:
- Go to paramountplus.com/link, and select your TV provider.
- You’ll be taken to your provider’s login screen to verify your account.
- Enter your TV provider username and password to sign in.
- You’ll be directed back to paramountplus.com to create (or, if you’re a former Paramount+ subscriber, sign into) your Paramount+ account.
- Start streaming!
You can also visit paramountplus.com, scroll to the bottom of the page, and select “Want to link with provider?”
Heads-up: You can login to verify your provider on desktop or mobile web only. But after verification, you can stream the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan on Paramount+ by signing in with your Paramount+ account on any of these supported devices.
Why am I being "verified"?
Verification is needed to confirm that you’re a current Paramount+ with SHOWTIME TV provider customer. Just sign in with your TV provider username and password, and once verified, you’ll be able to activate your Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan on Paramount+.
Do I have to verify my TV provider credentials every time to stream?
No, not every time, but periodically, you may be prompted to verify again. Please keep in mind that if your subscription to the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME network via your TV provider ends, your included subscription to the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan on Paramount+ will also end.
Which desktop browsers are supported for login on Paramount+ via my TV provider?
In order to sign in and verify your TV provider, you must be on desktop or mobile web only. You’ll also need to ensure you’re on a supported browser, either Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
Once you’ve been verified, you can stream with the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan on Paramount+ by signing in with your Paramount+ credentials (NOT your TV provider credentials, if they differ) on any of these supported devices.

Once you’ve verified that you are an active customer of your TV provider, you can stream over 45,000 episodes and movies ad-free (except live TV and select shows), your live, local CBS station including the NFL on CBS and other live sports, plus award-winning SHOWTIME programs, and so much more! You can also download shows and movies to watch offline, and create individual profiles for the entire family.
