A Few Good Men - streaming runtime modified?

Question

I've searched like crazy and I can't seem to find any information about this:

I hadn't watched A Few Good Men in a while so I thought that I would tuck in and give it a watch. I subscribed to AMC+ through my Amazon account and saw it was available so I fired it up... Right off the hop I notice a disclaimer stating "this film has been modified from its original version" which usually means get ready for some pan and scan 4:3 nonsense, But I was surprised to see it presented in its original aspect ratio.

Usually www.moviecensorship.com is a great resource for detailed breakdowns of alternate versions, But there's nothing there and I've googled the crap out of this and I can't find a thing.

Does anyone happen to know what was modified and why?

EDIT: I thought it was the runtime but it wasn't, which makes this even more confounding. If the runtime is the same and the aspect ratio is retained, what the heck is modified from the original version?

EDIT 2 - EDIT HARDER: As mentioned in my reply below, it's likely ad breaks. Here's what one looks like: https://youtu.be/rTCjkAAG5Zk?si=LGg4cKGIPxjyAgsR

Probably just touched up a little, maybe digitised from an original work print?

I think I may have got it: after watching the first 30 minutes, I've noticed a few jarring and unnatural fade out transitions between scenes likely designed for commercial breaks.

My gut is telling me that this version is used for both a premium level service as well as a lower tier ad subsidized service. Since I pay for the ad free service, I just get a quick fade out/fade in that lasts about 1 seconds.

It's still shitty to be paying for ad-free and still be getting the weird fade-outs and fade-ins.

I came across Apollo 13 on BBC America and the dialogue sounded funny to me. Then I realized they had subtly sped up the film, presumably to fit it into the time slot.
