There was a rumor that the Belgian "Marginal" release was bootleg. It was not. The recordings were taken from the original tapes. You can hear the clarity and precision in the recording. This version was also NOT remixed but is the original Motown mix heard on the 1967 vinyl LP recording. "Soul Sounds" is a real classic and I personally place it among the greatest of all Motown recordings from the "golden age" from 1964 to 1972. It's perfectly orchestrated and beautifully sung by Miss Clark.

I have a copy of this very same CD which has a fault in the track listing. Track 7 is listed as "Day By Day or Never" but plays "From Head To Toe" listed as Track 8. Both tracks are in the opposite order.
