Researchers will make picture stones more understandable
Gotland's picture stones are unique spyholes to bygone times. A database of the stones is now being created making them more accessible to researchers and the public.
On May 31, 2024, the Nordic Institute of Latin American Studies - NILAS, Stockholm University, hosted the presentations and defenses of Master dissertations in Latin American Studies (LAGLOBE – EMJMD and Master Program in Latin American Studies, SU).
On May 30, we celebrated the graduation of a number of students from the Bachelor and Master programmes. Staff, alumni and students mingled with each other and then enjoyed lectures from Jonas Enander, Communications Officer at the Oscar Klein Centre, and Jens Jasche, Researcher in Cosmology. The students received diplomas and everyone present enjoyed drinks and snacks.
