Reviews
- Edited one year agoGoodfellas have done a brilliant job at reproducing an exact facsimile of a 40 yr old record. The scuffs and smears on side one are particularly convincing, the addition of a light crackle across the whole LP and clicks and pops on side 2 gives it an authentic sounding 40yr old VG/VG+ grading. Where they fall down however is in the sleeve reproduction, using an out of focus low res pic taken on a cheap phone camera clearly wasn't the way to go. No attempt has been made to replicate creases, tears or ring wear. The labels as far as i can tell are very good.
- Way too much surface noise to be acceptable. And lots of quiet bits that make it really noticeable and annoying.
- Awful pressing , Noisy ,scuffed, this Sublime Music deserves better , 5 stars for the Music, my advice avoid this and other "Goodfellas" Black Saint reissues they dont do the music justice!...... a rip off.
