Please be advised. . . . I could not beleive the condition of the room I stayed in. The walls in the room were covered with graffiti (with words I will not repeat). One of the bed headboards, as well as the shower stall also contained graffiti. The walls around the floor in the bathroom were rotting out, as well as around the shower head. The door had possibly been kicked in before as the secrity chain was there but there was no place to hook in the wall, just a hole. The window locks did not work and the windows down the entire row I was on were cracked.
I could not beleive this was a Days Inn.

Lots of drug and prostitution activity. Extremely dangerous environment and fifthly to boot. Lots of people walking around begging money. The owners are not friendly and I could not go anywhere else due exhaustion. I thought it can be that bad but it was..

Hookers roamed the parking lot at night. The shower was mildewed and crusty, the bed covers had an odor. The whole place had a sleazeoid ambience that made it my favorite Columbus hotel. I loved it. Take a bottle of cheap whiskey and savor the low life!

When I first walked into the office to check in, my heart sank into my stomach at the sight of the bullet proof glass.
Once the front desk worker unlocked the main lobby it was less frightening.
Then the asked for my I.D as well as the I.D. of the women staying with me. Then I was asked to sign a waiver so they could run our I.D.s through the local database looking for active criminal records.
I was scared of who I might run into here, but the more I drive through Franklin, the more I was happy they went through the security measures they did.
I found women on street corners, and bullet holes in drive through windows, but I felt safe behind my locked door.

Sketchy location. Shady characters walking around all night. Not a place for a family with kids. Pictures online do NOT match reality. Place is a dump. Non-smoking room stank of smoke. Cigarette burns on cover, furniture and on bathroom tub and sink.
Do yourself a favor and find another hotel. Free wi-fi is limited, had trouble accessing

If zero was an option that is what this hotel would receive. Checked in around 3pm. Our room was musty but we went out and bought an air freshener. Put it back in the room and went out for the evening. Upon our return we discovered the power in the room was out. It was now after midnight. We went to the front desk where a very rude clerk made us feel we inconvenienced him. He couldn't/wouldn't fix the issue and moved us to another room. We checked out this room and discovered it was the junk room. Literally. There was broken furniture everywhere and no bed. Went back to the rude clerk and asked how he could send us there in the middle of the night. His reply was that he didn't work there. At this point we were frustrated and exhausted. He sent us to a third room. We went in to check it out. Garbage littered the floor and was under the beds. We nearly began to load our stuff in when what came down the wall? Roaches. We grabbed our stuff and left.

I was lied to about the room I was going to get, it was in horrible condition and I paid a higher rate than what it was, and was told that a room $40 has an extra $30 added on in taxes and I'm supposed to believe that?! Will not go through this again

When my husband went to check in the attendant was sitting behind a glass window with a small opening at the bottom. NOT A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION!! The area she said was the breakfast room was behind a glass door that was covered with paper. The parking lot had very few cars, but a lot of foot traffic. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, we didn't feel safe and put a chair against the door. I guess we were staying in an unsafe part of town, but since we were traveling across country we didn't know that. Too bad that kind of information isn't given to you when reservations are made. We didn't even know if our car was going to be there in the morning! And since your reservation has to be cancelled the day before you get there it is sort of hard to change hotels once you get there.
