Outstanding school. There are truthfully very few flaws with this high school as it's inclusive, student first approach that though seems impossible at most schools is achievable here. I moved to Paly halfway through my sophomore year and I can't express just how successful this school is at being both safe and offering opportunities to the entire community, not just the rich.
Overall my experience at Palo Alto High School has been positive. There are many resources provided to help you succeed academically, and the school is clearly eager to help aid you in achieving whatever goals and ambitions you have by supporting you and listening to student feedback and input.
I am a parent of a student here. This school has been a living nightmare for our family. The administration is vicious, particularly when a child has special needs. Instead of being accountable for the cut-throat culture that leads to student misery and suicide, the district blames the parents. We have tried - and failed - to get our child what they need. The administration is contentious, irresponsible and completely ill-suited to be responsible for the well-being of children.
