Margaret Lyons New York Magazine/Vulture When it aired, it felt like an also-ran compared to Friends or even Mad About You, but watching it now, it's surprisingly self-assured. Comedy has trended away from happy-couple stories, and it's too bad. Oct 24, 2018 Full Review Meredith Jacobs Screen Rant It was the perfect formula for a comedy, but it wasn't exactly a concept that should have lasted as long as it did. Oct 24, 2018 Full Review Audrey Shapiro Common Sense Media Gibson's straight-man role plays up to Eflman's goofy charm, and together they infused the series with energy.
